What is permanent eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the eyes by adding definition along the lash line. It gives the appearance of fuller lashes and beautifully shaped eyes, with results that last for months to years.
Will it look natural?
Yes! The technique is highly customizable. Whether you want a barely-there lash enhancement or a soft, elegant wing, the final result is tailored to your eye shape, features, and personal style.
Does the procedure hurt?
Discomfort is minimal. A numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to ensure you remain comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation as a light tickling or pressure, not pain.
How long does it take?
The full appointment takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This includes consultation, numbing, design, and the procedure itself.
Can I wear makeup to the appointment?
It’s best to come without eye makeup. Your eyes should be clean and free from mascara or eyeliner. If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before the procedure.
Am I a good candidate?
Most people are! However, if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain eye conditions or skin sensitivities, we may advise postponing the treatment. A consultation will help determine if this treatment is right for you.
What should I expect right after the treatment?
Your eyeliner may appear darker and slightly swollen immediately after the session. This is completely normal and will subside within a few days. The color softens as it heals, revealing a more natural finish.
How long does healing take?
Initial healing takes about 5 to 7 days. Full results appear after 3 to 4 weeks, once the skin is fully healed and the pigment has settled.
What aftercare should I follow?
Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying makeup to the treated area during healing. Keep the area clean and dry, and follow the aftercare instructions provided. Avoid steam rooms, heavy workouts, and sun exposure for the first week.
Do I need a touch-up?
Yes, a touch-up is usually recommended 6 to 8 weeks after the initial session to perfect the shape and color. After that, maintenance touch-ups may be done every 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin and lifestyle.
Can I still wear eyeliner or mascara?
Absolutely—once fully healed, you can wear regular eye makeup as usual. Many clients, however, find they need far less or none at all, thanks to the definition the permanent eyeliner provides.
